    Is there a plug in for eclipse for easily creating GUI's ?

    Which would you recommend?

    Yes there is, it's called 'VE' (Visual Editor) or similar (check the Eclipse site) but I don't recommend any 'gui builder'.

    Isnt it too much trouble to code all the GUI ?

    I am a begginner and I am looking for the "common way".

    The 'common' way it to code it all by hand; if you let a 'builder' do the job you never really know what it did and (so) it's very difficult to change bits and pieces later. Coding by hand isn't much work if you know what you're doing.

    Good and you're welcome; once you get the hang of it, it isn't difficult. There are some good tutorials on Swing components in Sun's/Oracle's tutorials.
