How to solve "No compiler error"?
I've downloaded Dr. Jave from here:
http://www.tau.ac.il/~csedu/yesodoto.../djpackage.zip

I wrote the simplest Java program and loaded it into Dr.Java.
When I press "compile current document" it writes an error:
"1 error found:
File: E:\Documents and Settings\BIP\Desktop\djpackage\mama.java [line: (no source location)]
Error: No compiler is available."

and there is a combo box on the right hand side which allows you to choose the compiler for compiling your code but there is only one row there:
"no compiler available"

I've downloaded a SDK, JDK and JRE.

Do I need to install another software?
OR
How do I make the Dr.Java to work with the SDK/JDK that i've installed?

Thank you very much in advance!

Why don't you go for a good IDE like eclipse.
It is a robust tool that can be used for compiling and running java programs.
It is very simple to use.
Here is the location from where you can download eclipse.

Hi iceman,

Welcome to Java Forums.

Didn't you read any document related to Dr.Java? Which JDK version you installed. Because may be you don't have latest JVM installed there.

Dr. Java, in my opinion has many issues.... there was a known issue with concerning the latest update- it's not able to run Java 6 update 4, I think you had to revert back to Java 5 or Java 6 update 3 earlier... Move to a better IDE- check out the link my sig for a list of some good ones.

Yep, read all the posts of that thread. You can find a better IDE than Dr.Java.
