So, google brought me to Abstract Syntax Notation One - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and openMUC: jASN1

The latter is a java library for working with ASN.1.
Are you asking for help with ASN.1 or java? Because ASN.1 doesn't appear to have ANYTHING to do with java other than have a java lib that can work with it. ASN.1 is its own language.

A good place to start would be the jASN1 library I linked you too. It is not part of java, it is a library someone wrote in java for working with ASN.1
