    Default Converting J001 to integer

J001 is a String. How can I convert it to an integer? Reason is I want to update it by 1 to become J002

Seems that OP don't know that J001 is a valid number of not (string literal). As far as I remember Tolls explain the same in a different thread.

More like you haven't masted the basics of forum etiquette: don't start a new thread on the same subject while ignoring answers in other threads. I'm locking this duplicate thread.

I suggest you continue the discussion in your initial thread, and reply to Tolls there.
