How to be good in Object Oriented Program Development?
Hi, im a newbie in java. I just having a problem when dealing with Object-Oriented Analysis and Object-Oriented Design so whenever i wanna create a simple system (console type) for me to practice my knowledge in Java (just only basics), i get stuck and cannot be able to finish it to get into object-oriented programming (implementation stage).
Can anyone here give an accurate advices or tips on how to be good at Object-Oriented Analysis and Design?

That's a rather broad question you're asking there; have you read some (elementary) literature on the subject?
kind regards,

If it's broad for you then why dont you give a broad answer too? Then through that, make it be more specific.
If you dont really intend to answer it nicely then atleast dont post/comment something that may appear insulting for me.

Please clarify -- what in Jos' post is the least bit insulting to you because I have read it over several times and for the life of me can't find a thing to suggest this? Am I missing something obvious? For my money, if I were you I'd simply have stated, yes, I've read XXX, but am unclear on YYY. That would likely have gotten you a fairly detailed and helpful answer from Jos who knows more about OOPs than most of us (myself included) will ever hope to know, and who is a heck of a lot nicer than I am in this forum to boot.
Sorry to get off subject here, but your comment demands a reply and an explanation for why you've attacked Jos when all he asked for was clarification of your problem. If you cannot tolerate such questions, then perhaps an internet forum such as this one isn't right for you.Last edited by Fubarable; 11-29-2011 at 11:23 PM.

I was about to make a reply until I saw your latest whiny ungrateful reply. The question you asked generally gets the following response: ask a specific question and get a specific answer.
If you want a broad answer to your broad question here it is: don't do drugs!

Junky, I'd have at least given him a link: Object Oriented Programming Principles.
Again, Jos is a lot nicer than I am.

You should grow a much, much thicker skin; asking what you already know about the subject is no insult at all; it just gives us a small indication about how and what we should answer and what details and jargon we should/can include in our replies; but you're right now: I, for one, have no intention anymore to answer your vague and (too) broad questions.
