Generics
I am a big fay of Java Generics which are introduced lately. But I believe, that on the backed, a lot of conversions take place. It means that generics made programming easier and flexible but slows have slowed the program execution. Is this right to say?

hm, i don't think it slows it down, but there might be a possibility. the reason why i think this is because when i read about generics, it talked about how like, if you have a generic class, it converts the raw type E into Object. Maybe this causes execution speed to slow down a bit, i'm not sure.
