Suggestions for project

I've been teaching myself some new things and wanted to try it out, but I couldn't think of what to make. . Could anyone give an idea?

Basically inheritance and abstract classes.

Oh and probably stacks and queues. I only kind of understand those (less then above) so some practice would be a good idea.

This isn't really a question we can answer. Do something related to your interests. If you really can't think of anything, go through the basic tutorials, writing the code to play around with each example), until you've built up enough knowledge to have some ideas. You could also check out Project Euler.

This question is a lot like asking "what should I have for dinner?". We can tell you some food that we think is good, but it won't really help you.

Nah, I was thinking more that someone would remember doing a fun little project and could suggest something. Going by your example, I am willing to eat (try) anything, so any food you suggest would be perfect. I guess I could ask does anyone know about sites that give java problems? I have just been reading through the sun tutorials online.
