    Default Simple question! Please answer!

I have a "fingerprint" assignment that my teacher wants me to work on... The assignment is two map two fingerprints on an xy coordinate/grid and then use the coordinates to find out how similar or different the two fingerprints are.. my question is.. how can I map these two prints? I am just going to find two random prints from the internet, but I don't know if there is a software to map these prints onto an xy plane! Any suggestions?

Thanks for replying, but my question is if there is a software (preferrably free) out there that can map the fingerprints on a grid?
