    What message are you hoping to get from the GVdie class?

    If you are trying to display the "you rolled X" message then the GVdie class does not do that. What you have to do instead is get what number the GVdie class has and create your own message.

    You would use whatever method the GVdie class has, not one that doesn't exist. You then take that value and insert it into a String which can say anything you like.

    :headdesk:

    Come on, try thinking for yourself.
    Java Code:
    int value = 4;
    String text = "The number " + value + " is your lucky number";
    System.out.println(text);

    @OP: please don't edit and remove the text from your original problem statement; as it is now, this thread doesn't make any sense anymore. I'm closing it; feel free to start a new thread.

    kind regards,
