Windows ".exe" files
Hello

I noticed that when you build a Java application a ".jar" file is created. Will this file execute on any operating system and is it possible to convert this file or re-build it into a Windows executable?

Thank you.

Go here for a jar overview, and read the last paragraph. And yes, it does appear to be possible to convert a jar into an exe.

Thanks
Thank you, Captain Morgan. That article really helped me understand the ideas behind the ".jar" files.
