    Default Simple Question

Let me start off by saying, I am very new to java though i have had experience in other languages in the past.

So the basic program is moving a robot around a small block map using some functions of a random class our teacher uses. One of the robots we can create allows you to use the keys to move the robot around, but im having trouble figuring out how to do that.

I have no problem creating the instance of the robot, but i dont know what to do with the method it suggests to make and what to put in it. Here is the link to the example:

RobotRC (Java: Learning to Program with Robots)

In the section where it says "method summary" is confusing to me. Mostly what parameters to pass into the method and the syntax of getting to to recognize character input. Basically, how would you construct each method to take key input? Any help is greatly appreciated!
