    Default Workspaces

I am using Eclipse for development. I came across workspaces whenever I start Eclipse. What is the importance of workspaces? It has to do with Eclipse or Java.

workspace is where you keep your code and .class files after compiling them. eclipse asks you where you want your workspace to be because it stores the code and .class files in different folders inside the workspace folder,
its basically to keep your workspace organized.

Makes sense. So Eclipse uses workspaces to manage our code.
    Thanks.
