    Default Still need some optimizing help for my game.

    My game still laggs while changing a lot of JLabels (Changing images of them),
    ofcorse the computer laggs when she has to change 600 JLabels a second.

    Could I maybe get any tips?
    Now when I've started doing it this way,
    it would be great if I could finish the product in this way.

    Don't use swing components. It's some abstraction layer for AWT. Use AWT directly.

    But actually I think it is bad sign that you use too many labels for move a image.

    Well... The game that I am creating is a dwarf fortress looking game.
    That is why I am using JLabels.
    I need a lot of them to be able to see a great part of the world.
