    Default Derby database problem

On deleting files at large, the files are added to Derby Database & the system memory usage is increased from normal 200 MB to 450 MB.(more then 100,000 files)
So i want to delete the files at large without increasing the system memory. How can i do it?

    Default Re: Derby database problem

Derby needs its buffers and caches; if you don't need them they'll be garbage collected if the memory is needed for something else; don't worry about it.

    kind regards,
