a question about learning Java

This is my very second post in this great forum. I have a question, im intending to learn Java (self study), and i need to know what should i learn (from scratch) in order to be ready to get the OCJA SE certification?!

Start with a decent intro book, or the java tutorials. You can find my book suggestions in my "Book Recommendations" link, the tutorials are also linked in there.

Or are you looking for a "how to pass a certification" thing?

of course i need to learn Java, and i've already started learning it from scratch, and i need to learn it very well. I've triled to study Java from a guide for the SE associate exam, but i've found that the guide started talking about classes and packages and packeging, i don't really know what are these things, so i started to learn using a tutorial in a website for beginners, after finishing that tutorial for beginners what am i supposed to study next to make me able to study the associate exam guide?!

Presumably you now know what classes and packages are?
Is that sufficient for you?
If not you could always go through the Oracle tutorials.

I think u should go for the OOPS concepts 1st.. And for that you can follow head first book for java. This can help u 2 learn the oops concepts and java from the scratch as well..
