    Cool Java Guidence for a beginner

    Hello all....

    I started learning java. It's good. But, there are so many books and materials in the net wch makes me confused as to wch one to use.

    So, can anyone suggest me the ultimate/best book for learning java for a beginner like me!!!! Let it be simple to understand....

    any suggestions about "Head First Java 2nd edition" Everyone say it is the best!!!

    I like to recommend head first java for beginners. Check my blog post below for a more extensive list, but head first java is definitely a good starting point. Also check out: How to Design Programs, Second Edition , there is also a first edition available at htdp.org

    The java tutorials contain pretty much everything you need. It's the first hit for googling "java tutorial".

    I used head first java 2, and it was a great book.
    Very well explained, many images to remember everything better.
    It's a great book.
