    Default Open explorer into an applet

    Hi Everybody,

    I want ti know if it's possible to open internet explorer into an applet window. I know how to open Iexplorer from a Java program but i want to do it into an applet, not from an applet.

    But a fully functional applet runs in a browser itself, so you want to run a browser (IE) in a browser?

    The showDocument method can be used to ask the browser to open a new window.

    My question seems a bit stupid...

    I want to operate with the opened applet externaly, for minimize it, maximize it, etc. So, as i don't know how to minimize the browser i'm triyng to open it into an applet.

    So, as JosAH says maybe that my question has no sens.

    Applets only work in a browser (or the viewer).
    If you want an external program write an application.

    I agree with JosAH, your question doesn't make any sense.
