I'd suggest finding a university to learn computer science if you want to be very good, but that's not the only option. Many people here(myself included), have learned what they know of Java from these forums, the tutorials, and books. Check my signature for some books I recommend and a link to the Java tutorials. It may be difficult to find a technical school in Bangalore, because many people don't live there and aren't aware of what they have.
You will also probably want to learn to program, not program Java. Don't be afraid to try other languages as well, c++, python, scheme/lisp, and there are many other languages(of course don't overwhelm yourself).
