    Post How to use java as a backend?

    I need some details regarding how java can be used as backend. Detailed explanation would be greatly appreciated :)

    By backend i mean storing the data just like database. I heard twitter is using java as backend.
    Sory if i m not providing enough explanation but thats what i know

    Yep, a lot of database vendors include a JDBC implementation (that can be used by Java) so Java can be used as a backend that controls a database.
