Hi All...

i have little bit knowledge of Java. i am good in C, VB. i want to develop web based application that receives data from a client whose IP is random. My client is GSM system that sends data to a static IP. i can develope a desktop application with VB6, via socket programming that receives data from that GSM modem. My desktop application is running on the server whose IP is static. Now i want to see my all data anywhere on the website. Please help me which software do i need for java designing, how should i start with java.
