JDK instalation problem

Hello

I am trying to install - java_ee_sdk-6u3-jdk7-windows-x64.exe - on my windows x64 machine. However I am getting an error message after I double click the installation file.

This is the error:

Error: Could not find the required version of the Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment in '(null)'

Any ideas?

Hi, I had the same problem today. You need to install 32bit version of JRE.

I had this problem and tried installing the JRE from the Java SE downloads page, but it didn't solve it. I don't know if the Java EE downloads includes a JRE and how many bits the Java SE JRE is?
