Hello ,
I am sagar, presently working in bangalore in a test creation company.
can anyone suggest me a good book for SCJP? and Please guide me abt the same. Which version to take ?

Go for the book by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates for SCJP. But come time for your examination, you might want to consider the 1.6 exam instead of the 1.5 exam. Currently, there are no study guides available for the 1.6 exam and the changes from the 1.5 to 1.6 exam are minimal to which you can simply study the objectives list and plan for study of the differences between the two. No problem sagararya. Unfortunately I cannot be your guide for your exam because I am not qualified on the exam's, specifically because I am not certified, yet. There are a number of resources available for these exams, if you look around a bit. In regards to general Java language specifics in your exam preparation, I'm sure myself or anyone on these forums would be glad to assist in any of the questions you may have.
