M new to JAVA
M using eclipse compiler for java but m facing a problem in statement:
import java.util.scanner; \\showing me an error
can u please tell me an some another code to input any data in my program.

You probably have the import statement in the wrong place.
Also, read this.

Or it could be a spelling error.

Norm is right. Note that Java is case sensitive.
