Java Programming

Hi All,

Till these days i worked as a manual tester.Now i want to shift to Automation side as it is interesting & have more career opportunities.I am from E&C Background so i am not so strong in Programming.I now the basics of C-Programming.I am eager to learn Java.Please guide me how to start learning Java from the scratch. Please do me the need full.If you have any useful study material on Java please fwd it to me me.

If you aren't afraid of spending a little money to get some good books I recommended Head First Java, its a very good book that I am enjoying reading right now.

There are also the Oracle tutorials. The Really Big Index
