    Default Tilesets?

How do I use Tilesets in java? So that I can create all "Tiles" at the same images for my game.

    Sincerely Alerhau

I checked my copy of the SE Api documentation but there is no Tileset interface/class in there ...

A tileset is basically an image that is divided into many smaller pieces, so that I can use a piece of the picture as a picture in my game.

Well, as I wrote before there is no such thing in the Java SE core distribution. The BufferedImage has a weak notion about tiles because they are defined in the RenderedImage which it implements but a BufferedImage always is always considered to be equal to one single tile. You have to implement a 'Tileset' yourself.

    kind regards,
