jdk bug
I currently have installed the java se developement kit version 6 update 24
and jre version 6 update 25 I am trying to uninstall the jdk but it keeps giving me a error mesage which says
Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personel or package vendor.
any ideas? also if there should be a error report, can someone tell me where to find it, or a dump file or something. im running a vendors moddified version of windows 7, it was modified to run alienware, because it is one. that might be irrelavent but i though i better put it out there.

I had this thing about one year ago. You can always un-install manually & then re-install it again. And with manually I mean "Go into the java folder & delete java". Also if you know how, remove all of the Java related stuff from your computer, except the normal java wich you use for running java stuff online for an example! Hope this will help you out. And have a nice day! (:
Sincerely Alerhau
