Menu Bar hiding behind PDF in IE9

Hi Folks,
Can someone help me out on this issue, in main page menu bar was hiding the contents , so i changed the position: relative;to absolute...now that prob is fixed, i got new issue when hover mouse on menu pdf content is hiding.
so i played with the z-index values..finally i changed its sign from + to - , now its displaying pdf file with menu bar on top of it..
but in IE9 menu bar is going behind pdf..can anyone tell me why it is happening like that.

prob is with ie9 document mode version i updated jquery corner plugin ..now its working good..

JQuery is a JavaScript library and has nothing to do with Java, nor does this question. You do know of course that Java and JavaScript are as closely related as ham is to hamster. Since this is a Java forum, I suggest that you Google for JavaScript forums and ask similar questions there. Let's lock this thread.
