Java SDK on Windows 7
Looking to download SDK on Windows 7, x64 edition. Can anyone advise on where this can be found? I found Glassfish Server on looking for it, but when i put the bin folder of Glassfish in the Path, it wasn't being recognised in cmd prompt.
Would much appreciate if anyone can advise on best solution.
I'm sure you can find information on Oracle's download page.

This is a link of a step by step video I find very helpful. I'm running 64 bit windows 7 and followed this video without any problems.
The link and information above is now outdated. There is no more "java.sun.com" website. Java is now being distributed by Oracle and what little information Oracle offers on their website does not fully address installing the JDK on Windows 7. Installing JDK on Windows 7 and getting it to work has proven extremely difficult! Does anyone have updated information on how to do this? Also, the video you've referred to in your link referenced a JDK download for Win32 which is also an outdated OS.
Follow the video, typing java.sun.com as the video suggests forwards you to the oracle site. From there you go to the download link, from there just download the correct version for your platform.
Typing java.sun.com forwards to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index.html
From there, click on the link java SE on the middle right of the page.
Download java SE 6 update 26, from there following the video explains the rest well enough.
