    Red face run a java application without IDE

    hello how are yall.?
    i have a simple question..
    i'm currently doing a standalone java project using Eclipse IDE..
    how can my users open the application without opening Eclipse and run from there?

    sorry im a newbie :)

    You create a Jar file. Users can then double-click the Jar file (or an icon) to launch the program. Find a Jar tutorial on how to do this.

    If you are on Windows you can create an exe. Or you can create a bat file to launch the program.

    thanks so much for helping...i did a search about jar..and i successfully created a jar file and it executed when i type the command in terminal...thanks :D
