Default Make a button class that uses your button image.

I just want to get an idea of how the following would be done
-designing my own button (which simple graphical application can be used to design a custom button).
-how would you get Button class (extending JButton), to load myButton and not the default image built in to Java.

if you could give me a link where I can read more about this, I'd really appreciate it. I would have used Google but I didn't know how to phrase it and the searches I tried gave irrelevant results :(

    Thanks!

    Default

Are you looking to change the look and feel of the button? If you are, I believe it won't be very simple. If you are simply trying to have a button with an imageicon, that's already possible, as is changing the background color(afaik).
