Does it print out how you expect? Also, I really don't think having a second scanner is necessary, perhaps it's just a pet peeve of mine, however; all it does is take up space that doesn't need to be occupied.

I tried running it with out the 2nd scanner but then I get an exception error :/

You should be able to correct it with a call to kb.nextLine(); after the call to kb.nextInt();

Any time you make a call to any scanner method other than nextLine remember it only grabs the next token and stays on the current line. It does not swallow the end of line and will cause these errors.
