    Default EXE to JAR

I'm very (very, very) new to Java. It's ridiculous how new to Java I am!
I'm going to get in to Java for real soon but right now I just need to edit something. So as the title says: How do I extract a (Java based) EXE file? Even I can make a JAR file out of data:)

What did you mean about this?
How do I extract a (Java based) EXE file?
Do you want to convert an EXE to JAR? If that, then I must tell you that to create a jar file you must have all of .class files.

To know how to create a jar file have a look on this

    Thanks for answering!

I know that I need the .class files to make the jar. What I need to know is how do I "get the .class files out" of the EXE

Did you created an EXE file of a java application? If then I can't satisfy you.I would like to learn that from you seriously.

Or not, then when you build your java code ,you will get .class files

Congratulations; most of the time people ask how to convert a jar file to an exe file; I haven't seen your question before; I do know the answer though: it can't be done.

    kind regards,
