    Did you study my PostfixCompiler? Instead of generating a postfix form of the infix expression you can evaluate the elementary terms and voila.

    kind regards,

    i suggest you to divide the task.. create a method on every task. so your code will be clean and easy to debug.

    Java Code:
    String pattern="[0-9a-z[0-9a-z]]";
    String sample ="a+b";
    String result[]=sample.split(sample);
    the output of that code will be

    result[0]="+"

    all you must do is to check the output

    it also divide the expression a+b(a+b) the output for this are " ",+,(,+,)

    @Josah = the approach is kinda advance for me...i can't understand it...
    @nap = its too advance for my part...can't implement that approach, i might be eaten by comments while defending my case study...
