Question Can anyone help out to meet this criteria

    hi to all

can anyone tell me how do i change from applet to another applet
for instance think of an applet have some contents in it and at-last of the applet displays "NEXT >" button to go to next applet that has completely different components in it.

so in this case what i can do can anyone tell me any suggestion to meet this criteria
as i'm a beginner i don't know how exactly these things can be done

and also is it possible to add buttons and images to the Card Layout

    Suggestion needed

Without knowing exactly what you want to do, it sounds like rather than having a second applet you'd be better off with a CardLayout, in which the "NEXT" button switches to a separate card.

    Yes.

I don't understand why everything can't be put into one applet...

but since applets run in web browsers, it is possible to have a NEXT button which is a link to a separate HTML page which has a different Applet embedded. You don't need to change the whole page either if you use frames or iframes in your HTML.

I would preferably use a CardLayout as has already been suggested by iron lion above or try to create another top-level window such as a JDialog rather than another applet. Why make things difficult for yourself?
