Call me lazy. Call me selfish. But I'm not going to waste my time typing up a bunch of stuff that is already present in multiple text books and online tutorials.
Had you gone "here's what I tried but it still isn't working or making sense" then I could have gone into a more indepth explanation.
Case in point: look at one of the other threads about a PriorityQueue not being sorted. I know exactly what the problem is but I want them to think about it themselves and if they still have trouble I can provide the solution.

I guess this goes without saying, but your delimiter can be anything. You can split a string that is formatted like:
4*2*12*5 or 4%3%23%88
whatever, just pass your delimiter into your split argument i.e, split("*")
