amiey is on a distinguished road
cannot run the program
i've already install the jdk-6u3-linux-i586-rpm.bin.tar.gz..but the program cannot run and leave me with this message..

could not open "jdk-6u3-linux-i586-rpm.bin.tar.gz"
archive not supported..

i'm new to java and linux..can somebody guide me..

I'm not expert on Linux, actually I don't have work with Java on Linux platform. Better to read some manuals about installing. This site may help you. Lots of Java guides are available there, specially on Windows.
