Modifying output

I am using Java through BlueJay and I have an output in the Terminal windows like this:
Author Name:Book Title:Book Edition:Publication Year:Publisher Name: Book ISBN:
Ginger Table Shone 1 1987 Publicating Monn 134343344

The format is clearly not good or nice :mad:

I would like a method that checks the longest string for each item, author name, book title etc and arranges with spaces so that the output is good to be viewed.

Okay? So where is your attempt at it?

In any case, cycle through your list (I assume you have a list) and get those "max lengths", then use printf instead of println.
