    Unhappy Public class problem

    I am doing a minecraft block making, but got stuck on this problem:
    "sources\minecraft\net\minecraft\src new 3.java:8: class BlockStepSand is public, should be declared in a file named BlockStepSand.java
    public class BlockStepSand extends Block
    ^
    1 error"

    Anyone please help?

    The name of .java file you are executing should be BlockStepSand.java.

    Obviously you do if you are trying to compile it. Or maybe it is your code it is complaining about and not minecraft. Then again if you are not a developer and are just trying to install some application you have downloaded of the net then you should go back to them and whine about their crappy code.
