Java Project
Hi
I've recently produced an assignment at University, whereas I'd been using eclipse on both Windows, Mac and Linux OS, to complete the project. I submitted it in Linux, in a zipped folder(source code). However, I unzipped the file later on(out of curiosity) and opened the source code in eclipse(Windows OS), most of the code was present, however in some of the classes it was unreadable symbols, i.e...

the fact that this has happened has affected my mark immensely, what could have gone wrong?? was it because of the zipping??

Could be (zipping and unzipping with different zip versions); if most of the code came back correctly it could even be a hard disk fault (corrupted sector(s)). Almost anything could've happened. Didn't you get any error messages while unzipping the stuff?

Is the problem repeatable? What happens if you zip/send/unzip again? What happens if you zip/send/unzip a normal plain text file?
