    Lightbulb Write a program..??

    Create a class Book having field bookno , title , status(whether available or not) , author , last issue date and price.Create constructor and method to create an instance of a book.Create method issue(),received() ,is available() %get issue date().

    No, sir you got me wrong i m a newbie in terms of java programming i m totally confused of most of the stuffs that i have learned please write the code for this program and would be very much obliged if you would suggest me some good book to learn from the start

    That is absolutely not how this works. Asking somebody to write the code for you is asking somebody to do your homework for you. That's cheating, plain and simple. You could face pretty severe punishment by your academic institution for doing so, and we wouldn't be helping you if we actually did what you're asking.

    Did you study the Sun/Oracle Java Tutorials? Google is your friend here (I'm too busy at the moment to look it up for you). Study at least a substantial amount of those tutorials and don't skip anything from the first set of tutorials; they should instruct you how to get up and running.

    @KevinWorkman

    Sir i want to learn java the program code is not important and i dont think anyone could solve such a ques in his 4th class that is why i asked for the code and i will take tutorials from google as Josah sir said if you recommend me some way to learn it easily i would be very helpful :)

    Actually, that assignment seems completely reasonable for a beginner class. I second Jos's suggestion that you read through the tutorials. But asking for code as you did is unacceptable. You learn by doing, not by getting other people to do your work for you.
