That is absolutely not how this works. Asking somebody to write the code for you is asking somebody to do your homework for you. That's cheating, plain and simple. You could face pretty severe punishment by your academic institution for doing so, and we wouldn't be helping you if we actually did what you're asking.

Did you study the Sun/Oracle Java Tutorials? Google is your friend here (I'm too busy at the moment to look it up for you). Study at least a substantial amount of those tutorials and don't skip anything from the first set of tutorials; they should instruct you how to get up and running.

Actually, that assignment seems completely reasonable for a beginner class. I second Jos's suggestion that you read through the tutorials. But asking for code as you did is unacceptable. You learn by doing, not by getting other people to do your work for you.
