Any ebooks available for java beginners?

Are there any free beginner ebooks on java? I know this site has some tutorials and there are places like youtube, etc. where i can get additional info, but i'm I'm particularly interested in ebooks, especially ones that contain practice exercises after each tutorial explanation.

^Thank you for your assistance. So far this book seems better than the one my instructor gave us. Its more informative for beginners in programming in general. I'll look forward to doing some of the exercises.

The official Java tutorials on the oracle website aren't bad. They give you a topic, then show a nice code example!
