Default Java issues: ConnectException: connection refused: connect

Hi people, I've had for a long time now some problems loading a game that requires Java (e.g. Runescape) Every time I try to load it, firefox freezes... To solve this problem I've done pretty much to solve it, and now I have deleted java and downloaded JRE. I don't know the difference so that's why I need your help. Recently, while loading that page I got this Error:

I don't know what to do next, but I'd really like if someone who understands this whole Java thing, could help me solve the problem...

    Default

Caused by: java.net.connectException: Connectino refused: connect

Seems like a firewall or wrong url issue. Java can see the server, but something is preventing it from connecting.
