    Default How to?

I need to write a program in Java that transfers euros to dollars when the user enters the amount of euros. I'm new to Java and don't get it at all, so I need some help.

If you're totally new to java, then the best advice I have is to go through some tutorials explaining the basics, I'd recommend the tutorials on Suns site.

Well I'm not entirely new, I've been through the whole Hello World-process but that's it.

Read the tutorials, this is a very basic question, all you need to really read about is scanners and variables. Store input, convert it and store the conversion into another variable, then print the variable. You can also just store it in a variable, and print out the number converted.
