    Can I ask why?

Anyway, you might want to check out Project Euler?

project euler is good, a bit heavy on the mathematical side, a few other good sites are:
Lots of strings, array, recursion, logic, and looping exercises here:
    CodingBat Java

    Practice Problems | CodeChef

Searching stack overflow is a good idea too.

That's what I figured, which is why it seemed strange to limit yourself to certain topics and not others. I can understand trying to master the basics before moving on to more advanced topics, but don't limit yourself too much!

If you find any please post them, I can never really find exercises for things like that. The only exercises I can really find are either really simple, or for people with much more experience programming.
