I am a beginner in programing with Java and since i've started to learn it, i stopped on a little, but very important problem.
I've created "Hello World" java application and need to compile it with javac.
BUT, when i write in cmd D:\FirstJavaProgram>javac HelloWorld.java , cmd shows me this message:
javac: file not found: HelloWorld.java
Usage: javac <options> <source files>
use -help for a list of possible options
and this is the step where i stopped with creating my own java app. :/
In my experience compilers do not lie. Either the HelloWord.java file is not in that directory or you have misspelt it. Remember that Java is case sensistive so helloworld.java is not the same as HelloWorld.java.
I know bro... that helloworld.java is not the same as HelloWorld.java
I've learned it..
just follow my first post and help me... according to me... javac can't actually find my HelloWorld.java
I told you. The file doesn't exist. Make sure you are in the correct directory. Do a dir *.java to see what files are listed in your current directory.
Thnaks bro about this dir *.java... actually i WAS in the right directory but dealing with wrong file... my HelloWord was actually A TEXT DOCUMENT in Notepad... not JAVA file
Thank you SO MUCH ;)
Later bro :)
