creating an interface
I am creating an application which, with 4 args provided by user, will produce the X and Y positions needed to center lines of text on certain heights and widths. I am currently learning Java in school and we just got into graphics and haven't learned how to receive input from user. So, to get to the point, I am asking someone to either teach or just type up an interface which has 4 different text fields (I can go in and edit it to put the text field names) which will be double values.
No can do. No one here is going to do your homework for you nor will we be able to teach you how to code as the first request is immoral and the second is just not feasible given time constraints. We can answer specific questions though and can also direct you to the Swing GUI tutorials which you can find here:

I enjoy programming and am actually doing this for a friend. 3rd off, this may have sounded as though i wasnt going to do anything but it was not intended as this. I was more or less only asking for someone to tell me how to implement text fields onto a driver or panel so that the user can input the variables or args and the panel or driver return them as doubles to the main. I think that is how it would work. I would never ask someone to do my work for me. I agree that is just wrong or immoral. Sorry.
If you're using args (as in the args from public static void main(String args) ) then why don't you just use a simple:
for whatever you need the data in args for?
String string = args;
