    Default form based authentication

    Guys, I am implementing form based authentication system in my app. I have all the codes in place and tomcat server xml files configured correctly. But the problem is how do I forward the page to home page on successful authentication. This is the code I am talking about.

    Java Code:
    <form method="post" action="j_security_check" >Please enter username and
    password:<br />
    Username <input type="text" name="j_username" /><br />
    Password <input type="password" name="j_password" /><br />
    <input type="submit" value="Submit" /></form>
    This is my web xml config:

    Java Code:
    <login-config>
    <auth-method>FORM</auth-method>
    <form-login-config>
    	<form-login-page>/login.html</form-login-page>
    	<form-error-page>/error.html</form-error-page>
    </form-login-config>
    </login-config>
    The tomcat server successfully authenticates my login, but I am not moving forward to my home page.Still stays on login page after clicking submit. Is there anyway to add something like
    Java Code:
    <form-forward-page>/home.jsp</form-forward-page> (for successful login)
    Thanks for any help!!!

    I don't see anything in there related to Java. Are you sure you're not looking for a JavaScript forum?
