    Default Java download problem

    Hi,

In the java.com website I clicked on Windows

    7/XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Online filesize: ~ 10 MB *
and since I am on dial-up it took 1 1/2 hours for me to

finish the process of "Installer download", but when that

was finished I did not get a window (page) telling me what

    to do,
but instead the "Installer download" repeated itself .
What's wrong ? Should I have clicked on the "offline"

    version "
I am running Internet Explorer on Windows XP,

    Thanks,
    Peter Buttuls

    Default

Should I have clicked on the "offline version"
    Yes

When I was on dial up I used to go to a library, a friends house, my place of study with (at the time floppy disks) and batch download 'huge' files using their fast[er than my] network. But today, the style is those USB thumb drives I imagine.
