Pls. Help with finding Main Class
Hello,
I've been given a java program which I must use on a regular basis.
The program is named jcoe.jar and was working fine. There was no installation, just copy everything to the root of the c: drive and double-click on the .jar file.
I copied the entire directory structure to the network and had my workstation re-staged. I then copied it all back down to the same location. Now, when I run the program, I get the following error message:
Title Bar: "Java Virtual Machine Launcher"
Error Msg: "Cold not find the main class. Program will exit."
I've seen others have had this same issue but I've not seen a solution.
Can anyone explain this to me? I'm not a developer so I don't know the ins & outs of java. I'm running Java Runtime Environment, Standard Edition 1.4.2_07.
Thanks in advance,
DetRich
