    Default Java3D UnsatisfiedLinkError

    Hi!

So I'm trying to get Java3D working on my machine running windows vista, so I downloaded the .exe file and installed it with no luck. So I proceeded to install the plug in for java3d in eclipse which I read about, but still it didn't work. I have tried adding build paths manually in the settings, and also copied the files from the folders over into my projects.

    The error I get is:

    Java Code:
    26.okt.2010 21:47:27 javax.media.j3d.NativePipeline getSupportedOglVendor
    SEVERE: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no j3dcore-ogl-chk in java.library.path

    	at PyramideFrame.<init>(HelloUniverse.java:85)
    	at HelloUniverse.main(HelloUniverse.java:94)
Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling java3d again, so I'm not sure at all.

From reading the error I asume the missing file from somewhere is "j3dcore-ogl-chk", which I got no file called, and there is none in the java3d folder which is created when it's installed. The closest is j3dcore-ogl, which is a dll file.

    Thank you for reading,

    Default

I've been googline this for the past few days, but I just can't seem to find a solution.

I've tried adding the dll called j3dcore-ogl in all the places I could think of, but still no luck.

So just bumping myself with hopes that someone knows what to do :)

    Default Fixin the problem

    Hi ...
you can fix just coping the file C:\Program Files\Java\Java3D\1.5.1\bin\j3dcore-ogl.dll
to C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin ( or your defout jre version )

    You can execute:
    copy C:\Program Files\Java\Java3D\1.5.1\bin\j3dcore-ogl.dll C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\j3dcore-ogl.dll
